Our dear friend Dona Hinshaw gained her angel wings on 12-24-2018. With her passing she left a special request that in lieu of flowers, she requested that contributions be made to the Corvallis Primary playground fund. It is our hope to eventually have a playground with new, safer structures, as well as a memorial that honors the contributions of our beloved Mrs. Hinshaw for all that she has done to make our school and community a better place.
Dona spent countless hours on the Corvallis Primary playground tending to the care and safety of students. She was passionate about the need for an upgraded, more developmentally appropriate play area for the young children in our school. Dona had such a heart for children and believed that providing a playground that could better meet the physical needs of children would benefit them in multiple areas of growth and development.
A PayPal account has been set up where donations can be made (see to the right). Contributions can also be sent to Corvallis School, PO Box 700, Corvallis, MT 59828. Please put Corvallis Primary Playground Fund Acct. #54 in the memo.

ReplyDeleteOur son would be starting kindergarten today but his life was cut short at 2 for unexplained reasons. We are sending $29 in his memory as his birthday was 2/9/14. We know your heart aches not having Dona here, especially as another school year begins without her physical presence. I hope the thought of Dona teaching our little boy brings a little smile and spark of love. Caleb absolutely LOVED learning and people and we know he would love his new kindergarten teacher too. Happy first day of school in heaven.
